| So I just noticed that the Custom Lead does not have a standby switch. I am assuming that since it has a solid state rectifier then a standby switch was not needed. Any thoughts or enlightenment? |

| When the Power Scale knob is turned all the way down, the amp is essentially in "stand by" mode. |

| thank you very much sir. I can hardly wait to get my Custom Lead. I have already set up some outdoor gigs so I can crank it and enjoy all out. |

Another benefit of using the power scale control as a standby is the soft start, you can slowly raise the power scaling once the tubes warm up, and avoid the shock that flipping a standby switch causes.
I mean obviously standby switches work and are fine, but the power scaling just gives you a bit more control, which is a great feature! _________________ -Seth |
